In addition to his commercial photography business, Dan launched Ambient Life Photography, focused on capturing memories for families and businesses through artistic photography of treasured details in homes and other spaces. Though Dan often collaborates with post-production artists in creating a finished product, he works to capture all he can through the camera. He works to extract the detail that hides in beautifully-designed products and everyday objects. Using what appears to be simplicity in his lighting, Dan maintains a realistic and natural look and feel in his photographs and brings out details inherent in the design of a product.
